Kesar Serial On Star Plus Episodes

Aksahdeep Saigal was replaced by Kushal Punjabi in the role of Ansh. Kushal Punjabi is a popular lead actor in the serial and will play the character of Ansh in the next few episodes. The actor is also seen as a regular in the serial.

The show was revamped once again in 2018 with a new theme and premise. The show was titled Meri Sarrab Tere Pyaar Ki and starred the new lead actors, Nakuul Mehta and Sanjay Suri in the lead roles. [4]

Udit Narayan and Kunal Kapoor are a regular cast member in the serial, and appeared as a regular pair in the opening and end credits.

This was not the first time the duo has played a regular pair, they played a regular pair in the serial Vikram: Ek Junoon Ki Gunah Main. They also portrayed a regular pair in another Ekta Kapoor show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs.'

The shooting of the serial was completed in March 2005; The shooting was in Paris, Chateau, Saint Tropez, Pushkar and Panchgani. The first look of the serial released was on 26 March 2005 at Wankhede Stadium. The script was written by Ekta Kapoor herself.[13] She wrote a total of 16 episodes which were to be shot in various places in India and abroad.[13] Due to the crash of Air India Flight 182, the shooting of the first two episodes were cancelled. This incident changed the shooting schedule of the show as it was near to be completed. These episodes were eventually released on 15 December 2003 as the first episode of the serial.[15]

Rajat Kapoor of Star Plus's Yaarana fame was signed on to play the male lead in the series under the alias of Ansh Gujral.[13] The show also saw the debuts of actors like Akshat Mohan, Pulkit Samrat, Armaan Malik, Upasana Singh, Anirudh Dave, Rishabh Bhattacharya, Manish Khanna, Amita Nangia and Niharika Mandhana.[13]

As reported by a source in the production, Ekta had predicted the budget of the serial to be about Rs. 170 Crores, while it ended up costing about Rs. 210 Crores making it a loss making show.[15] 827ec27edc
