Apocalypse. She has personally killed Merlin, and has kidnapped Balthazar's two other apprentices, Veronica

(Monica Bellucci) and Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina), and is planning to sacrifice them to the demonically

possessed Balthazar, and using him to open a portal to Hell. Balthazar has no choice but to turn to young

Maxim, who is also descended from the line of the mage family, for help.
